Information About Voting Online
Voting Online
This is the Ponderosa Community Club’s online voting system. It is a secure system to minimize the risk of election fraud. Voters must be authenticated or they cannot vote. Voters are prevented from doubling voting or voting online and by paper ballot in the same election.
Validated with Proof
Your ballot will be checked for validity the moment you press the “Vote Now” button. You are presented with printable and downloadable voting receipt for proof of your vote.
Vote is Anonymous
Your vote is tabulated without your identity. This means your vote is stored anonymously in a non-weighted integer tabulation database (1 person, 1 vote).
Security
The Ponderosa Community Club’s webserver is secured using Transport Layer Security TLS1.2 and TLS 1.3. To verify security, visit Qualys SSL Labs.
Ready to Vote?
To vote, you need your PIN (Personal Identification Number). The PIN will be emailed to you with information about voting in this election. Contact the Pondo office if you don’t get an email by May 10th. Please note, the office does not have your PIN. This number is auto-generated at the time your email was originally sent out.
